MOTHERS OF CIVILIZATION DAY

Mothers of Civilization Day is founded by Sister Audrey Muhammad as a National Day of Honor and Self Care in recognition of the first women on the planet, the Original Black and Indigenous women of the world. This day is different from “Mothers Day” because the honor is given to the women who gave birth to humanity. So often women are only valued if they have given birth to children but Mothers of Civilization Day moves us to honor the women who have laid the foundation of our existence, creating diverse cultures of customs and traditions.

Sister Audrey Muhammad is also the editor/owner of Virtue Today Magazine which features a live stream show called “Virtue”. Click the photo to the right to visit the Virtue Today Magazine website. The magazine is committed to redefining today’s women with strength, beauty, honor and class. She offers rich content for all women and insightful stories that can be enjoyed by men and the entire family.

When celebrating Mothers of Civilization Day families are asked to circle their women with love and admiration and to show appreciation for their love and care. Sister Audrey Muhammad offers us an opportunity to honor our mothers of civilization by having her listed in The Mothers of Civilization Book.
